No rest for the weary...
Hi. Haven't fallen off the face of the earth yet. *tired smile* All right, what day is it? Where am I?
The drive Thursday morning went rather well and I found my way to Mom's via the side roads I took last time. Had a "professional" massage Thursday night that was fabulous, and the only reason I put that word in quotations is because the woman was still considered a student and seemed flustered by my deeming her a professional. But it was lovely, really, the perfect end to a day spent in the car. Mom and I worked together Friday and with the money I earned, I was able to pick up Devil May Cry. Mom surprised and spoiled me by picking up the copy of the Cowboy Bebop movie and the final DVD (with my two favorite episodes EVER) of the series, which I'd seen and squealed over, but had to put back because I didn't have the money for them. You think I'd see these things coming by now, but she still gets me. ^__^;
Today was kind of a blur. Came to Dad and Dawne's, ran errands with Dad, went shopping with Dawne, and then spent the evening alone, watching tv like a lump on a log. I'm tired and my stomach kind of gurgled for most of the evening but I think that's because of dinner. I had superawesome Fudrucker's last night with Mom and Steve and then Dawne made meatloaf tonight and when Dad mentioned what dinner was, my stomach was like, "NoooooooooNOMOREBEEF!" (I also had McDonald's for lunch) I rarely get this much beef at school and so my poor stomach probably thinks I'm trying to kill it or something.
Right now I'm quite tired for various reasons, so I'm going to go to bed so I can get up and groggily go to church in the morning and hopefully not be too strained throughout the rest of the day. It is a big family function, though, so I'm sure it'll just be thrilling. At least Andi's coming with Sean this time.
Leslie, I don't know if you'll see this by tomorrow, but I'm still not sure what's going to happen tomorrow. I'm going to ask in the morning if it's possible for me to get away for a little while, but we may have to try to get together when I come back next time (around the 19th, I think). The plan so far is to get there around noon, eat dinner around 2 and eventually come home, but I will call you and let you know what's up.
I really wish I had Sean's I-5 mix already because I'd love to hear "There's Always Someone Cooler Than You" right now. Ah..but "Amsterdam" will do just as nicely, though.
