Late at night there's only what really matters.

I know I'll be tired.
I know I have other things to do.
Every day this dream feels farther away
and that's why I can't ever give up.

So, I haven't talked much about NaNoWriMo this year. I didn't exactly follow all the rules so I've felt a bit sheepish about it. I had a lot of this story written in out-of-order vignettes and have used Nano to turn it into something (not that I haven't chugged out some serious word count on my own ( Read more... )

This year's Nano is Ellie and Pete.  It was two scribbled bits in a notepad many years ago and this year I dreamed about it one night and remembered how much I love them.

I've been thinking my progress was slow but looked down today to see I'm over 18K words into book 2! YAY ME!

Book 2, you will be started in el condo and finished in my first house.

Fave line so far:
