›› climb a real mountain ( unlike the pseudo-hills in Singapore )
›› witness the aurora borealis
›› travel across a desert on a camel
›› be a teacher in a mountain village school
›› attempt to scuba-dive
›› lie down on a completely frozen lake
›› enroll in a foreign college/university
›› pick up, and be adequately fluent in, five other languages
›› design the interior of my own house
›› have a job in a foreign country
›› act like a crazy fan and stalk a celebrity
›› roadtrip, a lot
›› fall passionately, irrationally, head over heels in love, complete with butterflies and flower-petal-plucking c8
›› start a campaign
›› learn to be lonely
›› own shelves and shelves of books and CDs and video games
›› write, complete, and publish a book
›› own a cottage/penthouse/fireplace
›› own a walk-in wardrobe
›› do something completely spontaneous, irresponsible, just for once
›› have a summer romance ( like those you see in chick flicks, haha, what even Melo )
›› close my eyes, pick a destination and hop on the next plane there
›› taste all the candy in the world
›› visit every single theme park in the world
›› go backpacking with a loved one
›› watch city lights all night
›› catch the sunrise from a mountaintop
›› cultivate a British accent ( 'I would never shut up, then,' says friend )
›› take my family someplace exotic
›› marry for love
›› have the spiffiest wedding ever
›› have/adopt kids
›› see a movie at its actual premiere
›› visit space
›› stay in a cafe overnight to finish a novel ( dear Murakami: inception of After Dark imagery not appreciated )
›› travel across timezones, witness the instant transition from night to day
›› spot Mt Everest from a plane window
›› international forum/LiveJournal meet-up!
›› sing for a band
›› master a musical instrument
›› write a song
›› finally dare to board the scariest roller coasters
›› star in a movie
›› be in the crowd at an Olympics/World Cup game ( YOG doesn't count! |D )
›› cultivate true passion for a particular hobby
›› be a hip old lady 8>
most of these things others have probably done already; a lot of them are unrealistic and possibly diehard romantic ( gasp, Melo, how could you! :O ); this resembles a Things To Do Before You're 30 more than anything; but haha, guess this is what you get for growing up in a small, quiet, un-crazy world. c:
