Seriously! I was like, WHO THE HELL IS THIS BRAD GUY?!?!? I don't know you, what are you doing winning at Talladega?!?!

Also, did you see those wrecks!? The Lap 8 crash was what I was :X-ing about yesterday. Then Carl in the FENCE?! That was INSANE! I was screaming.

During Jimmie's wreck, thank goodness Truex was there or he would have hit that wall really hard.

The only reason I know who Brad is is from hellokimberly talking about him. I'm just so happy it wasn't one of the usual guys winning, you know what I mean? I think one of the reasons I've gotten tired of watching NASCAR is because it's the same guys winning and leading every week. That gets boring.

Anyway - those wrecks were unbelievable! I can't believe the wreck on lap 8 took out so many cars!!! And Carl in the fence was crazy! I still can't believe he ran to the finish line. LOL. Someone told Junior about that in a post-race interview and he was laughing and couldn't believe it. *g*

Yeah, there were a lot of pretty bad hits.

Damn, now I need to go find me some NASCAR icons...

Yay Brad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really still a pile of goo.

*lmao*

I don't think Junior had a shot at taking the win with Newman in front of him. Newman was dragging his feet which allowed Brad and Carl to catch them. I like you Ryan but come on... drive like you mean it! *lmao*

So, even if Junior broke out from behind, I don't think he'd have been able to get around Newman. Newman would probably have wrecked Junior. I am so sick of Junior running well to end up in a wreck close to the end. Gah! The man deserves some luck and this was luck. Did you see how close he was to Carl's car?! Oy!!

Richmond next. Junior can totally ride this great run to an even greater run there. ;o) He jumped 4 spots in the standings from this race. Yay!!!

I think you're right in that Junior really didn't have a chance at winning. I was hoping he would move up in front of Carl and Brad, but I think it happened too quickly for him to make that move without taking himself or anyone else out.

Yeah, I couldn't figure out why Ryan wasn't going!!! It looked like they were standing still as Carl and Brad came flying up there!

I know - he *barely* made it by Carl's car!

Now he just needs to do awesome at Richmond, which he usually does, and jump another 4 spots in the standings!!! I'll feel a whole lot better once he makes it into the top 12.

Newman did the same shit in the Nationwide race... blocking Junior all over the place. I think Junior realized that he was pretty much a sitting duck and no sense fucking up a good points race trying anything. Brad and Carl definitely had a super run and if either Junior or Newman did anything, they'd have probably all wrecked up there.

Richmond should be Junior's house! ;o)

Oh, I see. I didn't watch the Nationwide race. That's just ridiculous, but I suppose that's what you have to do in order to win.

While I want Junior to win a race, I'm glad that he is able to see the bigger picture.

LOL! Definitely!

If they try to change up crap because of what happened to Carl, I'm going to be seriously pissed. That was the most exciting finish we've seen in years, and yeah, I'm sure it hurt but I mean he jogged to the finish line! If they change anything but the fences or seating I might just have to stop watching. They've already made it boring enough.

But YAY for a 2nd place finish! He was actually close to winning it but he ducked down to miss Carl and lost some speed. Oh well though, 2nd is better than 30th or a DNF any day!

I agree with what you said about Junior. Yesterday was definitely a building block, he needed that to get his season going in the right direction. It was so awesome :D
