Hex Files?

Anybody else getting a 404 when they try to go to the Hex Files? Anybody know what's going on?

Aargh. Yes. The site does fall over from time to time, though, it'll probably be up again soon. I hope.

I'm just feeling a bit weird, what with LJ basically saying - we shall, with criteria known only to us, determine the artistic merit of your content and if we don't like it (or if we're feeling antsy or cranky or hungry) we shall wave our wand and you shall cease to exist! I worry that other sites will start to become fearful of hosting 'risky' stories. I mean, I know Hex Files is a labor of love and it's highly unlikely that they would do anything, but I have no idea where their server is, who owns it, etc.

Thanks for the reminder, though... yes, HF wets the bed every so often. It's probably nothing to worry about.

Yes, I am and I don't know but I'm getting seriously pissed. I'm reading about five over there right now, and it's irritating me in the extreme.

I know! That's when I know I'm an addict... when my supply is cut off and I stare at the screen, disbelievingly, and then throw a little tantrum (internally, of course).

This is the report I got from one of the Yahoo groups I'm part of:

"Just to let you know that the servers hard drive has gone bad. Support
are currently installing the OS on a fresh drive. It's been
maddening! So please be patient, we are working as hard as we can to
get this fixed."

So, hopefully, it'll be back up and running soon~!
