When 2ne1 first debuted, I was quick to dismiss them. They purported to be cutting-edge, but to me, they felt contrived. Their "concept" might have differed--street and urban for a change--but they seemed just as manufactured as the already available array of frou frou female idols. I don't like girl groups... It's all about the boys! But 2NE1 was the first group that I approve of. I'm not a fangirl about them, but I do care enough to listen to all their songs and watch their videos. I love CL and Minzy! CL is like the girl version of GD, lots of charisma and kick ass-ness. Minzy is freaking talented (sing, dance, rap). Bom is okay... she can sing but not my favorite voice. Dara is the only one I don't like, no talent. Guys love her though because she's the pretty in the group. lol.

I like your description about Johnnys... so true...

I think Minzy sings better than Bom.

I agree! I like Minzy and CL better than Bom and Dara. Dara is just Dara. Bom's voice is hit or miss for me. Minzy and CL rock it.
