I am told that I was quite pretty as a child. So growing up, and even now, it's been difficult reconciling why I never turned into a pretty teenager, or a pretty adult.
I think it's a Chinese superstition but I find it kinda true... adults call you "ugly" when you are a kid so you will be "prettier" in the future. They don't actually mean "ugly" lol...
But in sociology terms, I think they just compare your past looks to your future looks. If you were pretty in the beginning, anything that doesn't match that will automatically be uglier.
I was "ugly" before and now "prettier" looool... my brother is the opposite.
There's no way to change your face... it's genetics. If your face is round and you are fat, you can slim down, or get fat to get a rounder face. That's it. You can try to have those roller thingys that Japanese people use to see if they work out not lol... it's at Daiso.
It is a skincare line called M Lab. It's on the pricey side so I won't be buying it again. My brother gave my mom an M Lab travel pack when we came down to San Diego over the weekend so she handed it to me and told me to give it a try. I wouldn't know about it otherwise and there's not too much info about it online. It's kind of reckless to be using it without too much research, but so far no harm done.
I did buy one of those rolly things from Daiso but didn't use it long enough to notice any difference. I got lazy. Plus back then I had more acne and didn't want to exacerbate it. I guess it's time to lose weight! I'm not sure if it'll work but I can always gain some weight again afterwards. That should be easy.
I think for younger people... they usually gain weight first on their faces. When I went to Japan and gained weight, my face was the first to get fat and then the rest of my body. I had bigger boobs too! :D
When I lost that weight in the US, my face shrunk but didn't lose all of it unfortunately. Once fat cells are there (divided and multiplied) it will not disappear. Only shrink by starving it. So now I have extra meat on my face and I can even pinch my cheeks now.. before I couldn't do that. I could only hurt myself by pinching my skin. lol... I wish I didn't gain so much weight in Japan... sigh. I want my skinny face back...

The clogged pores are getting better, thanks for your scrub tip! I think it's also the new product that I'm using, but the scrub seems to help too.
Any tips for changing the shape of my face? I don't have any extra g's for jawline surgery though, unfortunately. hah.
