1. You were the first Dawn I knew!
2. To cut down the mightiest tree in the forest.... with a herring!
3. Deep red. It's the first thing that comes to mind.
4. Your taste in books! Among other things.
5. CWC meeting, in the usual room, Soumya and a few other J1s were there too.
6. A cat, albeit a rather sleepy one. I don't know why it has to be sleepy, though!
7. Where do you disappear to, oh you infrequent updater =)

w.r.t. #7: not coming online is a blessing in disguise.. sometimes i catch myself lingering online with nothing to do and just wasting time. Then someone messages hello and i decide to stay.

1. The quilting thing you did reminded me of my grandmother, honest!
2. To mix oil and water. (hint: you need a little something else)
3. Purplish-pink, 'cos it's the colour you use for your lj stuff!
4. Your writing!
5. Haven't yet met you...
6. Strangely enough you don't remind me of an animal, but a song: the Beatles' Blackbird from the White album. Just the tune of course, not the lyrics!
7. Actually, I already asked you: (kex-ian or ke-xian). But while we're at it, what's your favourite book?

2. I am no science student. I dont actually get that. But I'm sure it means something.
6. I have never heard that song.
7. Hahaha, I think you'll expect me to say some really deep book or something, but I think one's most favourite book is always personal, and hence not those deep ones that bring you around in circles. I like the Anne series, the Anne of Green Gables one. There's something about that book that I can grow with, instead of just read. But in terms of literary style, I like blind assassin and wide sargasso sea.

You know, this post is really effective in feeding the narcissism of whoever reads your journal.

That being said, talk about me!

if you are narcissus then am i your reflecting pool? haha

1. I don't think I've ever seen you with hair tied up.
2. Tell me if all Cretans are liars...
3. Blue
4. Your gentleness with silly people.
5. Actually, I can't remember the first time I met you! But I remember seeing you walking home in the rain.
6. Sheep
7. To be honest, I've always noticed the way you smell. Tell me: is it shampoo or fabric softener? (two common culprits) If you change brands I might not recognise you. ;)

On 2: I must confess I don't really understand the challenge - do elaborate on your statement (and possibly drop a hint?) :)

On 7: It's a combination of both, mostly shampoo. But really, the brand of shampoo and/or fabric softener I use (dictated by my mum, of superb household management co.) has changed constantly. Perhaps the fact that you notice it really shows that I often tend to use too much of it.

all cretans are liars, said the cretan philospher epimenides. was he lying, too? strangely enough it pops up in Titus 1:12!

Ooops! I forgot to fill in the seven points the last time round =p

1. I liked your ayam sioh which you cooked for the relief teachers last year, even though it was cold by the time we ate it.
2. Cook crabs! (unless you've already done so...)
3. Purple, of course =p
4. You're a nice person to talk to and to have as a friend because you're ingenuous and without airs.
5. The first time I saw you was probably at GeoTrail, in the NUS central library forum. Another thing I remember is in school, the time you had seven (or was that eight?) braids in your hair!
6. Frankly I simply can't associate you with any animal: none comes to mind. What does, though, is happy fruit (?!) =)
7. What is your best memory of school?

2. I actually don't like eating crab, but I might cook it one day because the rest of my family does.
7. Best as in happiest or most stark? I remember enjoying being an OGL, and I remember chapels. Not how they went, but how I was.

abi.
