How pathetically cute is Seth, ‘shopping for girls on the quad’?

I know! It's great isn't it?! I'm completely in love with the Ryan/Lindsey ship. Hehe, enjoyed reading your review, very entertaining!
The New Era
…begins here - and I’m liking it. The core four partly going their separate ways and dating four new people works well. Seth’s finally decided to give up the Summer chase for now and go “shopping for girls” - amusingly cute. Though the whole let’s hook me up with Lindsey thing - I know he didn’t actually have any feelings for her but the whole idea of the two of them, especially with foresight… let’s not go there, though I like how they deal with this fact later.
Even so, I liked the double date idea and how it panned out in the episode, however predictable the outcome was. Seth talking his face off to a bored Lindsey while Ryan and Alex share an uncomfortable silence. I love how the show can make you love a couple, but also make you love how a pair doesn’t get along.

Thanks, I'm glad. I enjoyed yours, too. This arc includes some of my favorite episodes so it's easy to be enthusiastic. And as you say, in so many was it was very fresh, a chance to see the characters do something a little different, from 'Cohen-neurotic' Summer to mellow Marissa, yes, even to suave Jimmy. And of course ficus/focus Kirsten and Julie- hee!
