So I really should be at work.

I haven't even gone to sleep yet.

I haven't done anything exciting though, except play the shit out of Guitar Hero, but even that's boring now.

I'm not sure what it is. It's the holidays...I can't stop missing her

Everyone has to find their own way to deal with things, does't make it right or wrong, just ours. In some ways I can identify, and on so many others, I can't because I don't walk in your footsteps, but I'm just now mourning my mother, and there are many reasons for it, but mostly because I'm finally happy and I want to her see it, and see that I'm back to the person I was, instead of not being able to go visit her because his mother would get upset that we visited her more - life can be so freaking complicated

you know i wish i had something that i could say or do to make it all better, but it's impossible. i'd be lying if i said i knew what it was like for you, i don't, it hurts my heart to even imagine it.

as far as pulling away, it's entirely understandable. you're a good man, lucas, and you are loved. holidays are hard for a lot of people, so don't think you're weird or it doesn't make sense or something, it makes sense to me.

i'm glad you're looking forward to korea, i'd feel like you as far as getting to explore another country and culture and such, i hope you have time away from work to be able to. and even though you think you're being selfish with it, you're not. you could have easily decided you didn't want to mess with it, and we all know how much you enjoy flying, but you chose to go so that others wouldn't have to. no one said it makes you selfish when you do something nice for someone else that you want to do in the first place. :)

hey, you know i'm right ther beside ya man through thick and thin. just because we havent talked in a while or seem distant doesn't mean that I've forgotton about you or decided to stop being friends with you. You know whatever you need I got your back.

and I wish I had the right words to say to make things seem at least ok, but I don't. Just know that you have great people around you that love and care about you. that should be at leasat something.

korea? when did that happen? guess I've been pretty distant too haha. Hope that this turns out to be a good experience for you, keep me posted and stuff though email or whatever. I'll be down in Flrodia doin my own thing so I'll probably be even more distant fomr LJ than I already am. And btw you're doing something for yourself that will better yourself. In no way is that selfish (this comming from the boy who's leaving college for a semester to intern in disney world. :) )
