I learned something about myself this week that, if truth be told, I’ve known for some time, somewhere in the deep recesses of my psyche, but have been loathe to accept as fact. That's perfectly okay, baby! I'm a big advocate for spontenaity (I've actually had relationships wither and die because there wasn't any on his part), but there's a difference between being whimsical out in the world and being a lunatic where you eat and sleep. Your living space should be pretty clean and neat because that's where you need to unwind and know what it's going to be like. It's your touchstone, and if it's out of whack, you suffer spiritually.

And there's nothing wrong with alphabetizing CDs. And sub-categorizing them be album release dates (a bad habit picked up from an ex).

Holy Cow! You do that too? I actually categorize my DVD's by Genre - chick flicks, musicals, Christmas, movies-I-only-bring-out-when-boys-come-over-to-impress-them-with-my-uber-cool-guy-films, etc.

Glad to know I'm not the only closet-neurotic around here. :)

my cd's are by abstract thought, but they are alway in their case & go back in the same place.

DVD's are by catagory. cirque, tv, film drama, comedy, theatre, etc.
