So, SM and I visited this really cool store today. It's called "Heavenly Treasures - Handcrafts From Developing Countries." It's a non-profit (501c3) organization that works directly with villages and villagers in 3rd world nations to develop business opportunities using the talents, craftsmanship, and local resources of each village ( Read more... )

thanks for the 501 c 3 reference...
as far as the bines go, I suppose it's what we consider normal and routine. You eatmeat on a daily basis, however you rarely use something like bone to eat it with. I'd bet drinking out of a skin would be gross too. And I agree. i would also have the same dilemma. I think those chopsticks, if in my possession, they would make a good conversation piece, but that's it.

Do you eat chicken wings? Drumsticks? Seems like the same thing, only your bones have been bleached and polished :)

But if you start to see ghosts...I'd throw them away...just to be safe.

There's a store on Melrose called Necromance. They sell bones and other morbid goods, along with being one of the few places you can legally purchase human remains. That places creeps me out.

And in case you're wondering, the only thing I've ever bought there was a porcupine quill.

of all people it creeps ME out, too. so, the two creepiest people are creeped out should give you an idea of how CRFEEPY this place is. Matt tried to get me to go in there a BAZILLION times. It was usually locked, and unless you know the secret knock of their cult I guess it's pretty hard to get in. Just walking by the store makes me feel uneasy.
