I should have mentioned that there are journals. They connect you to the network of people who are consider supernatural like wanderers, angels, demons, and the humans with not-ordinarily-human abilities.
If you talk to an angel or demon, they may be able to help you work on how to control the wings that you have. They may not work the same, but it wouldn't hurt to try.
I think if you still believe there's a way back, you have hope. If you can keep hope here, it... it's good. I wouldn't want anyone to lose hope.
Supernatural journal network. Huh. Well that's something new. I'm guessing there's a way to lock the journal entries then, right?
I don't know how angel and demon wings work, but it's worth a shot. You know any friendly angels or demons who'd be willing to help a guy out? Though I guess I can just make another journal entry asking, can't I?
I'm not losing hope that easily, don't worry. Things are just a bit overwhelming I guess. But at least I have the best pizza in Chicago to look forward to, huh?
Fucked up's pretty much the only way to put it. Good to see you're hanging in there. I'm not convinced there's no way back, either. Just hasn't been found yet. If you think someone'll talk you out of trying to find that way, won't be me.
Welcome to the supernatural journal network. Hell if I know what use the journal gives you, but we all get one once we've fallen through the Rift.
Probably should have given you a heads up about that one.
I'm sure there are more eloquent ways of putting it that don't involve swearing, but I'm not in a very eloquent mood. You'll be the first person I tell when the way to reverse the Rift is found.
The Rift doesn't really make sense at all, does it? Supernatural journal network. Well I can't say I haven't seen weirder.
Doubt anyone would blame you for that one. You can lock entries privately, which you already know about, but you can also lock entries to someone in particular if you've got something to say to them. Honestly, haven't found much use for it but you never know.
Same here. It's a fast way to get in touch with someone if you need them, if nothing else.
There's a punching bag in one of the gym rooms. I go there a lot to blow off steam, if you ever feel like punching the crap out of something.
So what's the use of comms--or cell phones, I guess--if you have a journal?...Though I suppose it'd be kind of annoying to carry a journal or PADD around all the damn time. Thanks for the tip I'll keep it in mind.
A punching bag? You'll probably see me there soon. Need to get used to the whole new center of gravity anyway.
Just a little warning - something I just learned myself the hard way - if you don't want people bothering you about your personal shit, lock what you write in your journal. Not everyone who might comment is a friend. Or nice.
I've kind of figured that out--and discovered the nifty 'lock' option--but thanks for the head's up. It's a bit too late for this one, but I'll use it as neede din the future.
