Heh -- I don't think I've heard anyone refer to Romney's PBS comment except to dump crap on him for it. I don't even know exactly what he said. Now I'm kinda curious -- do you remember some of the people who were calling it witty?

I've heard it repeatedly referenced whenever it's been discussed about how Romney 'won' the debate, I think I heard some of them on 'All Things Considered'. I'm thinking most Republican leaning pundits cited it as a zinger, as many of them consider PBS to be a liberal mouthpiece, and dislike it on that basis. In comment discussions, that's usually followed by arguing points in favor of defunding PBS, such as the subsidy being a small portion of their revenue, and that it's only fair that they should have to generate revenue like the other networks, that it's a relic of a bygone era, etc. etc.
