i generally disagree with the blonde advice as everyone but nash ends up with someone they consider inferior or with someone who thinks they're inferior, though i find your comments on the subject amusing (despite their exemplifying my hopelessness).
meanwhile, i like how well featured i am in your wedding photo, and you two continue to look amazing.
I suppose you have a point, the whole not-going-for-the-blonde strategy would require an attitude shift; you would have to consciously *decide* that you want the one you're choosing and that they are not inferior.
And I also like your giant smirking face in the picture :)
yeah, the blonde theory assumes the desire is for a short term objective of getting laid rather than long-term companionship, striving for quantity over quality, which is probably sound when applied to business strategies but isn't really how i approach relationships (though i can't speak for anyone else).
Not necessarily; I think that the original Adam Smith blonde theory would be more appropriate for short term, because the only qualities the group is looking at is the physical appearance. Any other qualities are unknown at that point and would require more exploration. Ultimately the highest quality long-term partner may not be the blonde.
Attempting to mix your different social lives together is certainly about as iconic as any social behavior I have ven identified with you Katie. And I do apologise already, for the rather snobbish analysis in that last sentence. But I've actually realized that when you (and by you, I mean a general concencus of people, not "you" specifically) mix in other social lives, yes it's potentially a dramatic fiasco but is that necessarily your fault. I mean you may know to a certain extent that introducing a friend to one another that certain disasters can and in fact all but certainly will result, but do you always? And the mixtures that will result are frequently between two different friends who certainly possess certain reprehensible qualities anyway
