favorite song of the day: Kanye's "Touch the Sky". In my opinion, it out-grooves both "Diamonds" and "Gold Digger". As the Beastie Boys suggest, ch-ch-check it out.

Follow-up question: does the musical score in "Touch the Sky" support Kanye's vocals or do Kanye's vocals support the musical score?

S'pose I should mention briefly that my paternal grandmother is on her way out. She's been in bad shape for a while now, but a couple days ago she was brought to the hospital for dehydration. Aside from this, she has Crohn's disease, osteoporosis (sp?), a blotch of untreated lung cancer, one or two widespread infections, bed sores, etc. etc. ( Read more... )

I apologize for the deluge of poems. Both of those I just posted were ones that I started a little while ago, but got hung up on a line or two. Glad I finished 'em, though.. kinda like how they turned out.
