Seems like 2013 had its share of depressing films from Osage County, to Dallas Buyer’s Club, and finally 12 Years a Slave. Hard for me to remember a more depressing film than 12 Years a Slave…I have to go back to Shindler’s List. All I had to cling to was an air compressor in Nebraska.

I will have to watch some of these indie films as they come out on DVD.
