I wouldn't count on bells to be the cure-all. My late cat Abby often had a collar with a bell when she was a lot younger, and she still managed to catch things and bring them home.

Yeah, our previous cat Information Superhighway wore a bell but refined the art of stalking without making it ring :/ But Calli's a bit less... graceful, shall we say? so I think it might be more effective on her. Always assuming the constant jingling doesn't drive her (and us) bonkers in the meantime, however!
