I agree with your assessments, though MSNBC seems to be skewing conservative lately, with the addition of Tucker Carlson and all. However, I think they're just trying to be fair, and I adore both Olbermann and Chris Matthews, so I'll let them slide. For now, anyway.

The way I see it, the breakdown of news, lately, is thus:
Fox News - craptastic. Also slanted right/conservative. (These are, so far as I can tell, not related - Fox News just blows)
CNN - fairly middle-ground, slightly liberal.
MSNBC - moderate to liberal. Particularly Olbermann.
If you get a chance, read through some of Olbermann's older columns. Some really nice stuff in there. :)
