Electrifying!

Okay, so I know that this isn't funny. But the irony factor is off the scale. Please discuss.

Not to be mean, but of course they're gonna continue with the church. I mean what are they gonna do otherwise? All become atheists?

Dunno. Depending on interpretation, this would be enough to scare them to God or the Devil.

Further proof that God hates religion.

I finished The Historian a few weeks ago and I've been meaning to ask if, being a cataloger, you began to fear for your safety while reading the book!

I love it -- all a vampire really needs is a good librarian! My book club accused me of suggesting books with a library bias. We also read The Time Traveler's Wife this year.

Oh, good! Yeah, wasn't it WONDERFUL that it all came down to one person's desire for a good catalog? *sigh*

Haven't read Time Traveler's Wife yet, but it was well-reviewed. Let me know how it is!

Cute pic, too. Congrats on your White Sox victory! We 'Stros fans don't feel too bad; we're just glad to have finally made it to the Series. :)

I enjoyed The Time Traveler's Wife. I especially liked the non-linear narrative. I was a little irritated by the ending, but I'd definitely recommend it.

Thanks. Despite the sweep, I have to say the Astros played well; it's not like any of the games were a blowout. Getting there after 44 years had to feel good -- winning after 88 years felt DAMN good!

When I heard about it, I took it as proof that God does have a sense of humor.
