[It is indeed a nice day in hell. Which elevates a certain pirate's irritation because he doesn't feel normal enough to enjoy the weather

[Of course Sanji's not sick. While he's out gallavanting one of his usual haunts, he just might run into Selphie, who's out and about wandering the paths of Luceti aimlessly. She really doesn't have anywhere she needs to be so she's just enjoying the fall weather. Winter's just around the corner and she's excited about the cooler weather coming.]
[Selphie looks up to see a familiar face she hasn't seen too much of lately and a big smile appears on her face in response. She nods in response to his question.]
Yep! It means that Winter's coming soon and that's the best time of the year.
[And then she looks at him closely before her expression changes to one of concern.]
Ah, so you're a big fan of winter. [He prefers summer himself, but just by a tad. Not that he gets the chance to say it. Her statement catches him unaware and he fumbles with his reply]
U-uh, of course. [grin] A little tired, but nothing to worry about~! Though Selphie-chwan's concerns are as warm as the glittering sun~!
[Zoro is sitting cross-legged, balanced on the rail of the bridge to town. He's also steadily pumping iron and looking out over the river, so when Sanji stubbornly comes by he initially just glances over, registering 'I see you, but I'm busy so unless you've got something to say I'm going to just ignore you'-at least until he actually sees Sanji.
When he does his reps halt for a moment, and then he turns to squint more interrogatively at the weirdly ragged-looking cook. He's not too familiar with sickness, either, and he's definitely never seen it on Sanji, but it doesn't take more than a quick scan to confirm that yes, it looks like a stiff breeze could knock the guy down. What the hell. :|a
[Ah look - a shithead. Someone Sanji doesn't want to see, in case he's being weirdly intuitive or just fuckin observant today. Either option will end with questions, and frankly, the chef's not feeling up to Q&A of any sort. The very idea of a verbal match turns him blurry-eyed and irritable.
But no problem, right? Just act calm, keeps the shoulders squared, pretend he's got business to attend t-
Yeeeeaaah, didn't get across the shitty bridge, did he? He halts at the question with a groan barely concealed, but tired or not because he's not sick, he straightens and turns and looks as unapologetic as possible]
I'm busy and you're interrupting me, shithead. That's what's wrong. [That's right. Go back to your muscle building. >_> Nothing to see here, Zoro. Move along]
[Zoro still just Looks at him for several long beats, raising a skeptical brow at the shade of-sunburn?-on his face and tension-tight eyes and mouth, not to mention the way he's standing. ...Sorry, cook, body language is a fighter's bitch.]
[...And then he just snorts and turns back to the river, weights starting to move again.]
Che. Whatever.
[Uh-huh. You move along, cook, Zoro was here first. ...No, really, just go ahead, he's back to safely ignoring you. Nothing stopping you from getting from this end of the bridge to that end over there. Honest.
[Sanji will take all mermaids, whether in water or on land.
But while he'd usually stampede his way over to her, damn headaches are making it hard for him to summon up his usual enthusiasm. Ah well. He claps his hands together and does his best heart tornado impression. He must be diligent!]
[At some point when someone is in bed where he belongs 8|]mikangirlOctober 13 2010, 10:33:15 UTC
[He might not feel it at first. But in between Chopper's lectures on health and various discussions about who's going to cook out in the kitchen (and we all hope it's not Brook or Luffy), there will be the tiniest of tugs on Sanji's blankets. And another one. And another one. And the tugs get a little more insistent over time.
...possibly, the world's tiniest navigator is climbing the trailing edge of one blanket in a heroic effort to scale her way from the floor to, say, your pillow.
And by possibly, we might mean: don't make any sudden moves, Sanji-kun.]
[Oh hey LOOK I'M REPLYING]oda_hates_meOctober 18 2010, 08:52:15 UTC
[Sanji would of course notice those determined tugs - if he weren't sick.
But since he is and he's tired, head filled with Chopper's stern diagnosis, the tugs are drowned out by the irregular spike in temperature that's leaving him uncomfortable and irritated. He shifts, subtly, but uh, that might give certain navigators a few troubles on the way up.]
[GASP how dare you--oh wait]mikangirlOctober 19 2010, 05:20:01 UTC
Yeee! [Holding on for dear life while her makeshift cliff decides to swing abruptly left and then back again. FFFF, maybe this wasn't the best idea ever, but she's halfway up now, dammit. B|
He probably can't hear her panicked screech, so she'll just cling to the blanket like the world's most cowardly ladybug until the shifting stops again, and then she clambers up higher. It's okay. When she gets there she might kick him in the face for being so difficult.]

[Instantly invades his personal space with a hand up to his forehead.] Is everything okay? You look a little under the weather.

[... oh yes, she asked him a question. He immediately looks sheepish] O-oi, I'm fine! Just a tiny bit tired is all.

[Do not let her get soup. :| It will be bad and fire alarms and smoke and weird tentacle things and eggs.]

And if Sanji realized the danger he was in, he'd protest more, but he likes it when people make him food. >_>]
There's no need for Fujiko-chan to dot on me so~!
... But if it would put her at ease...
