I bought myself a Christmas/Birthday gift to myself. I decided to consolidate Paul's and mine DVD collection into one and to get rid of those pesky cases to make more room!

A good holiday.
Holidays are good. Life is good. I spent Christmas Eve with Paul's family. It was a blast hanging out with all of them. I felt especially spoiled because they also gave me my Birthday gifts as well as Christmas gifts. I feel like I am already apart of their family. Nice update to the livejournal.
I've been MIA for awhile now. I've sat down and tried to write something, but I get bored from just the thought of it. Even though I like knowing I have a record of my life, the effort seems a bit vain at times. Things are good. Goals in mind
Slowly yet surely I've been setting up things so that I can bike to/from work. My parking pass for the university expired at the end of August, and since I am in the process of either getting full time or skedaddling out of there I am contemplating just not getting one. The parking at the university has raised it's rates this semester and so maybe ( Read more... ) -

The power just barely came back on. Whew. Let's hope it stays that way. It was very sudden, no flickers or anything. It wasn't very fun because I didn't remember exactly where our flashlight was at. Pigsley
Paul and I have a new bird in the house. We’ve had her for approximately a month now. She has a single dark factor jade coloring, which makes the formation of the feathers different than wild-type peach faced lovebirds causing her rump feathers to be a dark blue (versus a vibrant turquoise). Smokey's adventure.
Last night at approximately 11pm all of my hamsters woke up, as usual. Paul and I spent a good amount of time juggling the three sweethearts so that they never knew they were in close proximity to each other. We cuddled, kiss, and played with all of them.
