We love our place, but it just feels small, especially the living/kitchen area. Also, it's incredibly cold (north facing windows only means freezing at all times of the year), and lacks ventilation in the master bathroom, which means delightful things like two different types of mold. aahhhhhh.....is it weird to say I'm a little jealous?

I love my roomies and all, but I'm really looking forward to the day Em and I have our own place. :)

A place of your own is definitely something to look forward to! Friends are wonderful, but there's something so special about a space that is just yours and your partner's.

I found out this time that moving when you're excited to move is about a bajillion times better than moving/packing/reorganizing when it's just another move. I know you and Brandon are looking forward to your new place, so I hope you get that "this is going to be awesome" feeling and enjoy it. :) I highly recommend getting movers - it made our lives SO much easier, and was worth the ~$500. We have big furniture that were thrilled not to take it apart and put it back together. I have recommendations if you're interested.

Hmm thanks! Will keep that in mind - not sure whether we've decided on movers yet. We are getting pretty excited though - signed the lease this morning!
