I miss having someplace to write about things I dislike rather than just posting silly gifs about things I dislike, though I am sure there is a delicate balance to be struck there, yes? Yes.

So a couple people were asking for my thoughts on Assassin's Creed: Revelations and it took me a while to dig out, so there's a link ( Read more... )

Interesting, so is the focus slowly shifting away from Ezio to Altair/Desmond or is it still all Ezio all the time? I liked him in AC2 but I don't think his character can hold my interest for two more games.

The focus is off Ezio completely after this game; his arc has concluded.

I'm kind of annoyed with myself for groaning at the obligatory Sofia kidnapping and Yusuf's completely avoidable death (or did Ezio seal the super secret assassin entrance just to be a dick?), but not noticing the fridging going on left and right.

I adored the female assassin in Embers, and the potential in her story, and was so disappointed when I read that the next one would be about Altair's son.

Why? I just do not give a single fuck about Altair's son, and they haven't even finished doing right by Altair. Why can't we at least see the family GETTING DOWN TO BUSINESS TO DEFEAT THE HUNS?

Right!? tbh, Altair never quite clicked with me, so just imagining having to see his son angst about his death (wohoo, more manpain...) is more than just off putting. I hope they'll be brave enough to visit new waters, once the deal with Desmond is settled.
