This is Bri, commenting as Pete because I deleted my account a while ago... I totally agree with you about the New Year's resolution thing - I refuse to make resolutions because they are so artificial and studies show that most people abandon their resolutions by Feb. 17. It never feels like that start of a new year in January because in a few weeks I go back to exactly what I was doing before - school, work, etc. For me the 'new year' starts in the summer, around August, when I rearrange my life for a new year of classes and productions.
