I now need to research other bookmarking systems because Delicious may end up screwing us all. Any suggestions?

diigo.com seems to be a good option. pinboard.in looks great, too, but it is fee-based.

From what I understand, delicious isn't shutting down after all though, so you may not need to worry. Just export and back up your bookmarks, just in case.

Oooh, thanks! I'll have a look at those :)

I won't panick yet then. It would be great if they stayed put as I've been trying to sort two accounts worth of bookmarks out and I don't want to have to do it all again! (but I'll back up anyway!)

diigo.com can easily import your Delicious bookmarks (after you export them of course!)

Haven't really played with it since I imported mine, but at least I won't loose them in the meantime :)

Brilliant, I'll definitely have a look at diigo! My heart sank at the prospect of reorganising everything.
(...not that they were amazingly organised in the first place, of course! :D)
