I love the crotch shots as well and yes! I saw highlights as well! Connor has some highlights in his hair. :D

I'm thinking the sun highlighted his hair. I had a friend back in jr. high school and he had hair as dark as Connor. But once out in the sun, the front of his bangs would get some blond highlights.

So I'm sticking by that explanation for Connor. :D
