I’m at Dell Headquarters in Austin, Texas and I just came across this. I'm sorry to hear this is a problem for you and would like to help. If you're able to see wireless networks at all then it is not likely a problem with the card or the system. It's most likely an issue within Windows or whatever operating system you're using. A quick way to confirm this is to boot up using a Knoppix or Bart CD and see if you can use the wireless card then. If so you would want to pursue more software solutions instead of sending it in since the repair depot will leave the hardware alone if it's passing diagnostics. If there is anything I can do feel free to contact me.
