wonderful! thank you for being relatively thorough... so far the only other reviews i've seen were like "i saw wicked. ana gasteyer was in it. it was okay." so. i appreciated you sharing this with everyone.

the dealie with the big hat: i asked derrick about it when he took me and my mom backstage, and he explained that it was just a minor change; they decided it wasn't totally necessary, and he said that no one in the show actually liked it. he said the audiences always loved it for some reason, but no one in cast or crew did. he went on to add that staggering around onstage under a giant billowy hat was not the high point of their careers, "but whatever" as he put it. does that help at all? XD

It really isn't necessary, but I find it kind of stupid that they have the picture of the hat in all of these promotional things only to take it out of the show. Thanks for the info though!

Hey you posted something on the cultfilms_icons community and i wanted to make sure your icon was of Michael Pitt (because i love him too) and on the way toward syour icons page, i saw that you're from lafayette! i'm in west lafayette. do you go to Jeff or something? that completely blew my mind.

you seem to like a lot of the same things i do: baz, family guy, [cult] movies, hedwig (omg hedwig!!), liberals (haha), etc.

anyhow, this is cool.

Wow... I have NO idea it was starting up already! I didn't think it was going to open for a few months yet.

I am happy that Ana kicks butt! I was a little iffy, but after hearing your review, I am SO happy now.

I am NOT a Kate Reinders fan. PERIOD. I have seen her twice before in other shows and I didn't care for her either time. I was VERY upset when I found out that she was going to play the role. Not only because I hate her, but I was rooting for someone else to get the role. *coughMelissacough*

Kristoffer Cusick was the first Fiyero I ever saw, and he's second only to Norbert in my heart. I love the boy and I am SO happy he got the part in Chicago. ^.^!

Now I need to go to Chicago and see Ana in Wicked. I had NO clue she could sing, but after hearing her in Reefer, I've been obsessed. I was wondering about her as Elphie...she just doesn't seem like who they normally cast in that role. Now I'm wondering if there are any pictures of her in full costume...

There aren't any official pictures yet, but I found a fan picture from curtain call here (it's near the bottom). I think they're waiting until after it opens to release promo pictures.
