wow...i can see why the pollito was so taken with antigua, it's very very beautiful. and also why she was so disappointed not to make it to tikal, that looks amazing. loving the travel tales - you're much better than rach at keeping me updated, she's been hopeless. as soon as we get on the phone it's all sentimental sop, when all i want to hear about is her traipsing. postcards, not pining! we shall spend all of next week having a collective buckland street slideshow night to relive foreign adventures x 3.
p.s. your wife is dead meat for forgetting the emu. not happy john. p.p.s. thankyou for keeping the pollito in very safe hands and passing her back to me (hopefully) intact
coopes, i feel like such garbage for forgetting. please believe me when i say it was for the emu's health that i forgot. had cold stored it and didnt want it to full scale wilt and in taking such care of it i completely forgot to take it to work. i was getting a ride straight from work to the airport from my sister. ANYWAY, it's no excuse really--i am a schmuck and i hope that u can forgive me someday. it will be on it's own trip back to oz soon with some cds and shoes and yummy lipgloss.
sorry again. i am the poopiest.
luvaud :)
p.s. she LOVES presents to drag on and claims this is a good thing...
you may be forever in my debt. the emu only had one aspect which may have required refrigeration, but i appreciate your loving concern. hopefully it will make it back whilst i'm in africa, that would be a nice surprise for her :-)
Em, "Pollita" means "little chicken" in Spanish, so we broadened rather than abandoned the nickname. And when we got back to the States, I started using "Chicken" again. So you needn't worry.
Now if only we can figure out the spanish word for Rowdy...
Great postin Mike, nice to see you included a herp in there and its a frikken good one too! That volcano also looks pretty spectacular, but the one we saw on the way back from rocky point was better. :P
I'm also beside myslef with joy to know that you guys finally found those elusive squish pennies. Team phantom pants triumphs again!
