Audrey's a great gal, and I love her dearly, but it's no secret that she's a bit of a weirdo. Her speech, for example, melds accents and idiosyncrasies in the most puzzling ways. If you heard her say, "Soap up those goats, Todd," as she did yesterday, you'd swear she was from Chicago or Wisconsin. Her inability to pronounce "sorority" ("sowority ( Read more... )

Ted would tell you I have problems too...My worst problem is word subsituions expecially of "exhibition" and "expedition"...as in "Let's go on an exhibition to see the Zoo!" or "That was a very interesting expedition of old Masters!"

Hmm. It's probably funnier to say it out loud!

Who the hell has occasion to ever say "Soap up those goats, Todd"??? Does that usually come up in everyday conversation?
Sowority must be a bitch for a worker in tertiary settings!
But I must admit that my impression of Audrey was always one of 'good pronounciation'. I really can't imagine her (as though she's not in the room) not being able to say anything. Auds - I think you're fluent and eloquent (not to be confused with effluent).
