My first thought is actually not, "This is a bad idea" simply because the same bill prevents discrimination against religions in the same settings. The first thought I have is, "Is it wise to require the government to explain some of these concepts to a child (even a high-school age child)?"

I agree with silversaff in that parents should be willing to step up and address these issues themselves, instead of allowing the government to do it for them. I mean, considering the government has screed up everything else it is in charge of, how would anyone expect it to do better at this? That goes for all parents, regardless of religious background, but as for Christians: if they do a good job of raising their children well and teaching them about these things, they have nothing to worry about from other opinions.
Says the guy who is single and has no kids himself :/
