How about naming it "Pat?"

1. It's genderless
2. It's cute
3. It encourages people to pat "Pat's" leaves/fronds/cactus spikes
4. It's an old schoolz SNL reference
5. It's better than "Tit Mouse"

well but you can't name it alex, jamie, sam, or cailen. or daryl. or phoenix. our friends have taken alot of the good non-gender/non-name names.
the name jade is unisex, but it might get confused and think it is a jade plant.
you could name it petals. but that would be weird.
i think you should name it somehting that you can make into initials. like, aj (like foust from high school) or dj (full house) or tl (!).

NO! that is not at all what i meant. i'm sorry. i was giving examples of people and cats with names like the one you should come up with for your plant. you wouldn't name the plant after one of them. you would name it, for instance, rp for room plant, or gt for green thing. you know, name it something weird or obvious or overly romantic and then shorten it to initials.
