What I've been doing....

I've not updated about this as I wanted to make sure things worked out, even now I am not 100% sure they will, but it is looking hopeful! Cristmas night, hubby and I made the decission to add another collie to our household. A rescue, some displaced soul who really needed a family, just a companion for us and someone for Kody to play with. He gets

I hope Caleb works out for you, but if not, you'll find the right match for you guys and for Kody. I think it's a wonderful idea, what you're doing, and Kody's going to love having a friend. ;)

Still alive, tho I am trying to limit my rants. *laughs*

I know Kody will really love a companion. He can be a bit of a butthead till he calms down, all zomg! another dog! *pounce* *tackle* *attempt to hump* then once the initial shock wears off, he calms down and plays nicer and is content to lay side by side. He does that with my friends dog, even tho she gets a bit bossy with him. He gives to her, doesn't challenge, even when she's telling him to back off he just uses his shoulder to take the nip and politly turns his head away. Then goes back to trying to play, but she's smaller then him and he doesn't realize he's a big dog. So will be nice to have a companion who is willing to play and is more his size.

Plus we have extra space on the couch that could be better utilized by another wookie laying on it. Kody only covers half the couch. :P This little guys been a outside dog for a while, I'm sure he'd love to come in and be part of the family.

I think we've all been wondering. Are you still going to show Kody? Are you still going to breed?

Yes, I am going to try and show Kody again. As for breeding, I'm in no rush to breed him. We go back to class this monday and Im going to be scouting some shows to see when and what shows we may go to. He's matured a lot, physically. I'll post pictures of him and Caleb later this week. :)
