Give blood. Pick up bread at Great Harvest. Give wife chocolate-covered Oreo's. Relax. Test drive a new car. Load new software on laptop in preparation for Monday's job. Take care of Dance. Have dinner at Flattop Grill by candlelight, using gift certificates received at Christmas.

Stuff, in a numbered list to simulate some sort of order
1. Last day of work. Kind of traumatic and rushed, as I still had to transition lots of stuff to the client. Lots of folks that I won't be seeing on a regular basis. And there's a very cute coworker that was a lot of fun that I was tempted on saying, "you know, you are really cute", but I lost the nerve (and that whole "burning bridges" thing). * ( Read more... ) -

Stuff
Got a lot of stuff done with work and personal goals -- sent in another RPG.net article, got all the work supervisee midyear reviews done, got some polishing done in the board game I'm working on. Spent way too much time surfing the net doing brainless stuff. Didn't get much writing done. :-(

I had a tech interview today -- apparently I did well since they called me right away and scheduled an interview with the company.
Pros:- A bit more money
- Get back into .NET, possibly in a more senior position
- No movement in my current job, no future unless I move to Chicago -- there's only one client in town
- Learn another field (financial)
