As to the dream, I think the perspective is important. There is a change in your life that you can't see. The change probably happened around the time the dream started (sorry, I'm ocassional captain obvious). I think once you can clearly see the change, the dream will either stop of you will be able to see the ceiling and the ends of the room clearly.

Welcome to my journal, I am now offically intriqued back.
Change of life might be it, I recently conquered a long term (years) bought with reoccurring depression. Now I am not completely chipper now, but I finally got to the point of releasing past traumas that happened to me.
this was a mental choice really, I was literally sitting in my car at lunch one day going over shit in my mind and it occurred to me I was breaking one of my own mantra's
"those who live in the past are those that claim passes by to fast. Why? Because time spent in reflection is the bane of the present and sacrafice of the present negates a potential future outcome" (me)
Maybe its time to let old ghosts die?

But that's definatly a possible explanation. I try not to read to far into other people's dreams as it makes me less objective and therefore less able to see meaning. It actually why many people (me included) can't interpret their own dreams, lack of objectivity.
