So, yeah, I finally got an answer to my three-month contract negotiations: $2/hour more. So while I now make $14 an hour, that's still at least $2.50/hour less than the minimum average for the work I do. In other words, my job values me enough to try and placate me without actually giving me what I want/closer to what I deserve

That nerd test can suck my balls, it insulted me! And how can they have a category about "history/literature" when they only asked ONE question from each group, and not even good ones. I've READ Homer's Iliad, I just don't have a copy right now. And I love the comic book question (singular) where they ask you to pick your favorite from three lame choices and they have two from DC and one from Marvel. Dude, most of my arguments about comics center on DC VERSUS Marvel. Dumbasses. Fucking quiz. Fucking me getting way too emotionally involved. :-p~~
