So tonight at the bar was hard. Only because I was the only door guy. Normally, Friday and Saturday are our busiest nights. We have 3-4 bouncers, and charge a $2 cover. I was the only one, and we weren't busy early in the night, so we didn't charge the cover. Then around 11, we got busy

Do you normally make tips?

I guess I forgot to explain that, didn't I? We bouncers make a cut from the cover (10% of the total take, divided among the working doormen). Usually it doesn't amount to much more than covering our dinner expenses, but it's nice to have something.

And, of course, that doesn't include any bribes/personal tips we get. ;)

Hmm, I guess I won't bitch about having to pay a cover ever again. :-p I never knew what they used that money for.
