So One of my heroes died yesterday.
Solzhenitsyn was a great man and a brilliant writer. He will be missed by all the Russians who are still alive after surviving Stalin's nightmare so many years ago.

See, for whatever reason my friends list refused to update this week, and I just read that in yesterday's newspaper today. I remembered you telling me about this paper you were writing about the guy. (The article didn't seem to do him justice, but the paper rarely does.)
