Perservere through these next few months, Tachibana-kun. Focus on your training. Make a name for yourself as a singles player -- separate from the team, if you have to. You'll shine all the brighter if the stars surrounding you are dim, after all.

I have little doubt that you will shock them all at this spring's public tournaments.

It was the pits, especially if you were on one of the girls' teams, and the boys' didn't have it much better. If it wasn't for oniichan, they wouldn't have gotten anything at all.
