In the extra features part of the DVD of Garden State, Natalie Portman is so funny when she's doing that extra talk-over-the-movie thing with Zach Braff. She totally calls him on his ego trip in making the movie. It really made me understand the movie at a deeper level, knowing how much it connected with Braff's own life.

I didn't like that movie as much as I thought I would. But I love Natalie Portman. Apparently I look like her.

Garden State... what a fantastic film. I need to watch it again. And again. I love the making of feature, mainly because yeah--you really can see just how intricately the film is tied to Braff's life. He started writing it in college. And for me, that just makes it better because the film feels so real and so much more honest than a lot of things out nowadays.
