*blushes* Thank you. This would be a bad moment to admit that I improvised like crazy, huh? Because I only got to "composition" and "how to construct a face" in my art books ;)

Hey, there's nothing shameful at all with improvisation! I honestly feel like I learn more as an artist by "winging it" like this instead of trying to strictly follow a book...

Hm...actually, this is pretty much the first time I'm following a book and it feels like it helps me with stuff like not drawing the eyes too far together etc. But winging it is definitely a bit part of art. It would be pretty sad if art were all about technique and not about feeling and impulses. So - let's all cheer for "winging it" :D
