SPN Thoughts & a Season 9 Wishlist

Recently I've been doing a rewatch of Supernatural, starting with season 4. By now I'm about halfway through season 5 and Oh. My. Goodness! I forgot just how incredibly suspenseful and intense SPN can be. Next to that, watching the episodes closely together, the story and the characters seem to have a much bigger impact on me. I used to love Supernatural, but I must admit, I stopped watching last season. Another show I adore got moved to its time slot, and since Supernatural hasn't been as good as it used to be lately, I decided to give it up. I have a soft spot for Adam, too, so if they actually did something with his character again, I'd definitely be curious enough to give the show another shot. (I have no idea if they ever did anything with him in season 8, but it always annoyed me how he was just ignored post-season 5...)

Actually, I had times like that, too - especially during season 7. It felt so forced and even though I love Dean to pieces, I often found myself laughing out loud at that forced deep and gravelly voice. Bad times.

However, re-watching season 4 and 5 (some of the best seasons imo) really fuelled my love for SPN again. Plus, there's the fandom. I probably wouldn't love the show half as much if the fandom wasn't so great.

As for Adam - YES. How can they wax poetics about family but forget about their own brother? He should come back as a villain and kick their behinds. At least a little bit ;)
