Wow, this is one fantastic piece of Sam-and-Dean-ery. The body language alone tells the story -- Sam, in pain and embarrassed at Dean reading the riot act (no doubt loudly) to the office employee; Dean, furious, looming aggressively over the counter, ready to kick whatever asses are necessary to take his brother home ; and the woman behind the desk -- every useless bureaucrat in existence, crystallized into cat's-eye glasses, pearls, and the indignant hand on her hip. I say again, WOW.

BRILLIANT piece of art!! Brava, bb!

I raise you to "WOW, what a great comment!"

You might have read above, that lately I've been reading up on a lot of artsy theory and especially this thing where artists are being challenged to tell a story with their pictures. And you just got every. Tiny. Nuance (!) I wanted to include. Everything! I'm so thrilled.

That, and you like art and Supernatural and Dark Angel and by the way, your art is gorgeous. So what I'm attempting to say through my excitement, is that I'm very glad and flattered that you like my picture. It means a lot to me ♥

Ha. I don't just like your picture -- I LOVE IT. Perfection all the way 'round.

. . . and yes, I love me some Dark Angel. Mainly for jailbait!Jensen, but yeah. It's a fave.

Jensen is always fun to watch. With floppy hair even and admittedly, I always watched it as some sort of SPN-AU story. Alec and Dean are pretty silimar, in my opinion.

Gosh, all the detail in this! I love Sam's face and how he's holding his leg. And of course, Dean's posture is very protective big brotherish and he's not going to take any nonsense. I also love the posters on the wall! Great job!

Oh, thanks so much! ♥

I just loved this prompt, since the teen!chesters have always held a special place in my heart. Right along with the adult!chesters, come to think of it, but never mind that.

Seriously, though, thank you so much for your kind words and I'm really glad that you like the posters, too. I went a little cartoonish there, I'm afraid ;)

Came here via a rec, and eeeeee, such lovely work! :D I love the colors, and Dean having a stand off with the headmisstress, and Sam just waiting for it all to be over. But the headmisstress is my favorite! Keep our school clean, hehe :D She's awesome, I love her.

Wow, before I read your comment I had no idea this had been recced (I since found out and squealed happily to the "reccer" ;) ).

Thank you so much for your lovely comment. You have no idea how happy it makes me that you like this picture - and the headmistress in particular. I pretty much drew this "from the gut". I had a feeling I wanted to convey, some sort of atmosphere, but not much else. It's incredible to see you pick up on precisely the things I wanted to say. Seriously, it's great :)

Oh, thank you so much! ♥

As mentioned above, this picture was drawn pretty much from emotions and yes, stuff I (painfully!) learned about perspective, too, but mostly it was about a feeling I wanted to show. I'm so glad it resonates with you :)

Very gorgeous lines and coloring here! I love what all the characters are 'saying' in their positions and how we get SO MUCH out of what could be such a simple set up.

First of all, I love your icon so much. Oh, Dean. Heh.

Seriously now, though, thanks so much for your kind words. I felt I went a little crazy with the lines there, since I've recently fallen in love with cross-hatching and decided to say "no!" to smudging for a while. Likewise, coloring has always been difficult for me, so you have no idea how happy it makes me that you like the colors here. To be honest, I feel like this is actually the first time I'm finding a bit of a coloring-stlye for myself, so your comment is really reassuring for me.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment :)
