Hey, isn’t putting money in someone else’s meter a crime? Isn’t there a clown out here that keeps getting arrested for it?

we had a guy in NYC that would that, he went to court and the law got tossed. They used the IRS guideline that anyone can give anyone up to 10,000.00 a year tax free. If the IRS didnt need to get notified up to that point, NYC didnt need to know about a quarter. Also cited that anyone can pay someone elses fine.
