The sad death of some actors son who had epilepsy (the son, not the actor) who was also a Scientologist (the actor, and maybe the son) rekindled my interest in Scientology,  which means scanning the web for an old "South Park" episode so I can remember the doctrine (and a quick look at The Source of All True Knowledge ... Oh, I forgot. There would also be a new Holiday, L. Ron's Birthday. Of course, they would change the date from 13 March to probably December 22nd copying an old trick used by the Christians to adjust (or in the case of Christianity, create) history to align closer to the seasons to imbue the day with spiritual significance by aligning it with the lengthening of daylight (hence, the return of light ad knowledge).

Dude, the Sims 2 is awesome. But they're coming out with the Sims 3 this spring. I can't wait!

The blackout was kind of cold, but at least it only lasted 24 hours! I'm no worse for wear.
