...I am still alive! Yes, I celebrated my 30th birthday with a back piece that goes from my sacrum all the way up to the base of my neck and it was an amazing experience, since it was my first tattoo. I'm only mildly masochistic, I promise. After 6.5 hours of mixed sensation ranging from mild prickling to complete numbness and intense burning

I'm glad you are getting worked on by Alice Kendall. Her stuff is the best on that site, followed by Amanda Myers. Though I do have to confess that I stopped looking after Paul Zenk.

I'm dying to get more tattoos, but they just aren't in my budget right now. Sigh. I really want to get a giant squid tearing apart an oil rig on my head, but it'll have to wait...

Hurray Tattoo!! Im so excited for you. I'm designing my next peice as we speak and each time I hear another tattoo story it makes me want to rush out right then for it. patience... patience. Good for you!!
