I, for one, am not. It's very rare that I truly hate a politian, but Sarah Palin is it. In her very short political career, she has shown herself to be ready, willing, and eager to abuse power, strip rights, bully, badger, and talk out of both sides of her mouse. It's very apparent that she will do ANYTHING to get what she wants. This is the exact OPPOSITE of the type of person we need in government, but it's what we keep getting stuck with because those people are the most ambitious.

I'm very happy that they are losing this election so badly at this point, and I'm really, REALLY hoping that the next 30 or so days remain the same. These times are too troubled to have people like this in charge.

I'm happy they're losing the election so badly at this point too and also hope things stay the same or get worse for them before election day. I think Palin is absolutely terrifying and the thought that she could be a heartbeat away from leading our country - and, knowing McCain's health record there is a good chance that heartbeat would come to pass - I just shudder to think. If McCain gets elected there is a very real chance I will leave the country. Whomever gets elected has a really tough road to hoe, and won't have enough time to right a whole lot - only a chance to get us going in the right direction, I think. But I definitely think Obama has a better plan for getting the US back on track - especially since he's seen fit to share some of his plan instead of spouting fluffy intentions without examples to back them up. If McCain gets elected I think we're all screwed and I don't understand how people can listen to him and think he could improve anything, but so many people do. Its frightening that so few people seem to pay ( ... )

I'm only surprised that it came out and wasn't suppressed or boxed up somehow. I guess Cheney wasn't involved.

Also, for your amusement, Wasilla City Hall.

(No, really.)

That's freaky... she's a mini-mart politician. How can anyone possibly think she's qualified?!
