I moved my familly from Luverne Minnesota to Woodbury Minnesota during the winter of 1999-2000. It was a very dry, unusually warm winter. I was able to make many trips between Luverne and Woodbury without any snow or winter weather until the final trip

Cool. I've gone into the median before also. Fell asleep. Thankfully it was a big median with no gaps coming up soon. It was very difficult to stop in the median, and when I finally did I slipped sideways, and one tire came unseated from a wheel.

This was a company car. It was in my first month on the job. My current job, I might add.

The composure you seemed to handle the situation with is astounding. o_O; I probably would have tensed up, and said my prayers as I went barrelling into the cars in front of me. o_o

Thank You. I do pride myself in keeping my head while under stress, especially while driving. I have plenty of driving stories to tell...
