I felt similarly the first time I tried a proper sized road bike.

What I remember from the last time I was in Halifax was a series of connected bars called the liquor dome - not a recommendation.

you must check out the bike co-op that is in the community center down agricola, i forget what the building is called, and if i remember properly they're there on wednesday nights andsunday morningnoons. they are a great bunch of guys, some grizzled and extremely knowledgeable, all nice. they have free bike knowledge, tools and parts. you can't miss
